Bjørn H Stuedal
Bjørn H. Stuedal (born 1966) is a communications consultant and photographer, located north of Oslo in Hov, Norway. He works with a wide range of genres within photography from advertising, press and PR to wildlife photography, with the latter being his great passion.
Within wildlife photography, he is particularly fascinated with the big predators and the Nordic birds of Prey. He strives to capture the monumental contrast between the hunting predators and the prey’s mutual struggle to survive, while also seeking to portray a lasting atmosphere and impressions.
Stuedal has been awarded several international photography prizes and in 2019 he received the title: “Wildlife Photographer of The Year” from The Societies of Photographers. He has been nominated for “Photographer of The Year” in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022 and 2023 which resulted in one gold, seven silver and two bronze.
Further awards include the silver medal in NARAVA 2019, bronze medal in NARAVA 2020, and three “Honourable Mention”s in The Black and White Spider Award in 2013, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022 and 2023.
